In October 2025, Microsoft will stop supporting Exchange Server 2016 and 2019 which will lose the ability to connect with Exchange Online once they reach End of Support (EOS). To maintain hybrid connectivity with Exchange Online, customers should upgrade to latest Exchange Server 2019 CU. Maintain the Exchange Server 2019 in the latest version ensures continued support and prepares for the upcoming Exchange Server Subscription Edition (SE) in early 2025, allowing for a smooth upgrade when it’s available.
